Stemsight Vision for a world with less corneal blindness
StemSight develops curative treatments for corneal blindness using induced pluripotent stem cells. StemSight’s first product is aimed at a severe rare disease called limbal stem cell deficiency, which is often caused by burns or chemical injuries and cannot currently be cured with other means. In the future, StemSight aims to produce also other corneal cell types from stem cells, which could replace the need for corneal donor tissue.
